Yuma is Hot!

Okay so this is my first post since I left the beautiful shores of California and I must say, it has been an adventure so far. First of all, despite my family's strict objections, I posted on Craig's list rideshare classifieds and found a ride with a guy named Seth (who is driving a truck with room for ALL of my things, thank God). Well, we left San Diego early in the morning on Friday morning and less than 12 hours later found ourselves stranded in Yuma, AZ with major car trouble. There is really only one thing I can say about Yuma, AZ and that is that it is freaking hot. So, Seth and I got a hotel room and prepared to stay the night in Yuma. Saturday we thought the truck would be done and we could be on our way. We waited and waited and after a freak dust storm that darkened the whole sky we were informed that no, we would not be leaving on Saturday, in fact we would not be leaving untill Monday morning because there was a new problem with the truck that could not be fixed untill the parts guy returned. So, stuck in Yuma till Monday.

Getting Ready To Leave

Well it is almost that time guys. I will be leaving San Diego within the week and going to Texas. And I will be leaving Texas on the 6th of August for Costa Rica so you guys can expect some pictures real soon! I am excited and nervous and a little anxious but overall I am ready. It is Tuesday and I am looking at leaving SD on Saturday but would like to push it back til next wednesday. I still have so much to do. I still have so much stuff to get rid of. OMG I seriously can not wait!!!
